The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the nation's premier organization for early childhood accreditation and represents the mark of high quality in early childhood education.

High-quality early education has an enormous impact on children’s lifelong learning and positively contributes to their health and development.
 

To achieve accreditation, Sandcastle Early Learning Center completed a rigorous process of self-study, demonstrated high-quality programming in all NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards, participated in an on-site visit by an early childhood expert, and underwent a final review by the NAEYC commission.

Parent Aware is Minnesota’s
voluntary quality rating program. Parent Aware’s Star Ratings are designed to help parents find programs that exceed licensing standards for preparing children
for school and life.

Sandcastle Early Learning Center of the Church of St. Francis de Sales of St. Paul is a licensed child care and pre-school center that has been serving St. Paul since 1981. Sandcastle is a non-profit that welcomes families from all walks of life and all faiths. Sandcastle serves children from six weeks through ten years of age.

Sandcastle is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families by providing high quality Christian-oriented care that emphasizes treating one another with respect, dignity, warmth, kindness, and fairness. The staff models these values in a caring, safe, and educational environment.

Sandcastle Early Learning Center is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services and the Saint Paul Department of Health. We are NAEYC Accredited and have a 4-Star Parent Aware rating.
