Steve grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he attended his parish grade school and Marquette University High School.  He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and worked for IBM for 24 years in Chicago, New York, and Rochester, Minnesota.  Steve and his wife Joanne moved to the St. Paul area in 1998 and have three children; Anna, who works for NET Ministries in West St. Paul, Sarah, who lives in Mendota Heights, and Joseph, who is studying Architecture at the University of Minnesota.  Steve continues to be active at his parish, Holy Trinity in South St. Paul, as a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Religious Education teacher, and assistant organist.
