As Coordinator of Hispanic Ministry, Eva Garnica works with the pastor, leaders of the Spanish-speaking ministry team, members of the staff, and the parish pastoral council in the continued development of the Spanish-speaking ministry at St. Francis de Sales of St. Paul. Eva was born in Mexico City, growing up in a family where family togetherness is important. The fifth child in her family, she has seven siblings, five women and two men. She graduated as an accountant and has served as an auditor. Eva came to America in 1998 with her husband of 23 years, Eduardo Vega. They have three children, Christopher (age 23 and works as a chef at a private club), Dana (age 18 and attends Cretin-Derham Hall High School), and Alin (age 14, attended SFSJUS and now attends Cretin-Derham Hall High School). She began working for the parish in 2004.
